সংক্রমণের ভয় গায়েব, গা ঘেঁষাঘেঁষি করে দাঁড়িয়ে নমুনা জমা দিচ্ছেন বাসিন্দারা

 করোনা সংক্রমণ নিয়ে উদ্বিগ্ন সকলেই। জ্বর সর্দি কাশি হলেই বাসিন্দারা এখন করোনা পরীক্ষা করাতে স্থানীয় স্বাস্থ্য কেন্দ্রে যাচ্ছেন। কিন্তু অনেকের মধ্যেই সচেতনতার অভাবে দেখা যাচ্ছে। কোনও রকম সাবধানতা অবলম্বন করছেন না অনেকেই। করোনার নমুনা জমা দিতে গিয়েও অনেকেই শারীরিক দূরত্ব বজায় রাখার কথা মাথায় রাখছেন না। 

 এই ছবি দেখে চোখ কপালে তুলছেন বিশেষজ্ঞরা। তাঁরা বলছেন, এই বর্ষার মরশুমে অনেকেরই জ্বর সর্দি-কাশি হতেই পারে। তাই জ্বর সর্দি হওয়া মানেই করোনা সংক্রমণ ধরে নেওয়া ঠিক নয়। তবুও সেইসব উপসর্গ দেখা দেওয়ায় বাসিন্দারা করোনা পরীক্ষার জন্য  লালারসের নমুনা জমা দিতে আসছেন এটা একটা খুবই ভালো দিক। কিন্তু বাইরে বেরিয়ে এই মুহূর্তে যে সাবধানতা নেওয়া জরুরি তা এখানে দেখা যাচ্ছে না। নমুনা জমা দিতে আসা বাসিন্দাদের মধ্যে কারও কারও দেহে করোনার সংক্রমণ থাকতেই পারে। তাই এইরকমভাবে সমজিক দূরত্ব বজায় না রেখে দাঁড়ানোর ফলে এক দেহ থেকে সংক্রমণ ছড়াতে পারে অন্য অনেকের দেহে।

Everyone is worried about corona infection. Residents are now going to the local health center to get a corona test as soon as they catch a fever or cough. But there is a lack of awareness among many. Many are not taking any precautions. Many people do not keep in mind to maintain physical distance even when submitting corona samples. They are submitting samples of saliva after sitting for a long time with their bodies close to each other. A picture of such unconsciousness was caught at Bharat State General Hospital in East Burundian district.

Residents have been flocking to this hospital for corona examination since morning. Long line of residents in front of the sample collection center. Both men and women are sitting there for hours hugging each other. Experts are looking at this picture. They say that many people may get fever, cold and cough in this monsoon season. So having a fever or a cold does not mean that you should catch a corona infection. However, it is a good thing that residents are coming to submit saliva samples for corona testing because of those symptoms. But the precautions that need to be taken at the moment to get out are not seen here. Some of the residents who came to submit the samples may have coronary heart disease. Therefore, standing without maintaining social distance in this way can spread the infection from one body to many others. Through them the infection will spread to many more bodies. So when it comes to submitting a sample of saliva juice, the fear of returning home infected with corona remains.

Earlier, only Burundian Medical College Hospital and Kalna and Katwa sub-divisional hospitals were collecting saliva samples. Corona tests are now being sampled at many rural hospitals and health centers as the state health department has directed to increase the number of tests. Hundreds of residents are crowding the Bharat Hospital every day. Residents of the area say there is still a lack of awareness among the poor residents of the village. Therefore the hospital authorities or administration should ensure that everyone can stand at a physical distance outside the sampling center.
